Dr Villarreal es mi doctor por muchos años desde casi 2010 hasta haorita .2025 Dr Villarreal es un doctor que yo en lo personal lo recomiendo . Algunos años he tenido que ver otros doctores de dolor pero sinceramente ninguno que se preocupe tanto como Dr Villarreal estoy muy contenta de tenerlo como doctor . Dios nos lo siga bendiciendo y mis respetos para el. Me he tenido que mover de ciudad y especialmente vengo a mis citas con el es maravilloso doctor con todo respeto.

I visited this doctor for back pain. As I told him about my reactions to medications in the past, he said, "well, if you are going to be negative about getting help, I can not help you". Fine! There are other doctors who can and will help me who are courteous, not rude!

i've had on and off/numbness in both legs and feet for over 15 yrs. i have been seeing dr Villareal since may 2011. on 6 jul 22 i had the vertiflex procedure done by dr V on an outpatient basis.since then, i have no pain/numbness in either leg or feet. i would highly recommend this procedure for any one who has the same issues with sciatica as i've had in the past 15 yrs.i have not felt that good in many, many yrs.

DR VILLARREAL IS ANYTHING BUT CARING PLUS NOT BEING PROFESSIONAL!! I HAVE HAD 4 APPTS WITH HIM. AS WITH ANY APPT. I HAVE, I MAKE SURE THAT I AM THERE WELL BEFORE THE APPT TIME ANY WHERE FROM 15 MIN TO A HALF HOUR. BEFORE MY APPT.! EVERY APPT I HAVE HAD WITH THS DR, I HAVE HAD TO WAIT ANYWHERE FROM 1 1/2+ HOURS UP TO OVER 2 HOURS!! I HAVE A SPINAL CORD INJURY WITH CHRONIC HORRIFIC PAIN! SITTING WITH MY FEET DOWN ONLY INCREASES THE PAIN. I HAD AN APPT FOR RFA SURGERY!! I WAITED AT THE SURGICAL CENTER FOR OVER 1 1/2 HOURS. THE TECH TOOK ME BACK AND DID MY VITALS. I WAS THEN INFORMED THAT I HAD TO GO BACK OUT TO THE WAITING ROOM!! THE TECH THERE SAID THE DR. HAD HAD AN EMERGENCY AND THEY WERE NOT SURE WHEN HE WOULD BE IN. I DEMANDED MY MONEY BACK AND TOLD THEM WHAT I THOUGHT OF THEM AND THIS "DR." EVERY PATIENT DESERVES TO BE TREATED WITH HUMAN DIGNITY!! EVERYONE SHOULD EXPECT PROFESSIONALISM FROM ANY PROFESSION!! DOCTORS ARE NOT GODS - THEIR TIME IS NO MORE IMPORTANT THAN MY TIM

Find another Doctor this one along with his PA don't care about how you feel or what you have to say more like robots then human beings

Dr Jose Villarreal and his staff are extremely patient-oriented. My experience entails nearly ten years' time span in which I have progressed from debilitating chronic back pain and associated long-term opioid use with "normal" complications such as constipation and insomnia. My current condition, with an implanted, intrathecal morphine pump, is nothing short of a miracle, in my view. I'm able to live a relatively normal life, able to do most of the physical activities that a 67 year-old can regularly do. I occasionally take other pain medicine for "breakthrough" pain, but typically the minute amount of morphine administered by the pump does a terrific job of controlling much of my pain. Dr Villarreal and Myrna , his PA, have helped me navigate through this process - always very through in explaining each step and taking the time to answer any questions. I never feel rushed nor shorted.

I agree with many of the other reviews. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. I went to see the doctor because I have extensive knee damage. I also had to get a new hip but my surgery was scheduled for several months ahead. So I saw Dr Villareal. He also made me fell like a drug addict. Did all his urine testing and he gave me some pills. Well my orthopedic surgeon had a cancellation and was able to do my hip replacement sooner than we had thought. I had to cancel my appointment with Dr V. Because I was still using my walker and was still taking the pain meds prescribed by my surgeon. I told the young lady from his office that I had to reschedule my appointment because it wasn't easy to get around at present but I would make another appointment as soon as I could get around a little better, that I had just had surgery. About a week later I got a certified letter telling me I was being dropped as a patient because I did not adhere to the agreed upon pain treatment contract. What? Really… compassionate. I felt like some villain drug user that had abused the system. Come on.

I was extremely nervous about my appointment based on several other reviews on this site. I almost cancelled my appointment but was in so much pain that I decided I would try it. I was pleasantly surprised. I was called back as soon as I finished filling out my paperwork. Every member of the staff that I came in contact were friendly, courteous and professional. The doctor was also friendly, courteous and professional. It was a PAIN FREE experience. I am so glad I DID NOT cancel my appointment. Everyone was patient and answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. I will definitely return if the need ever occurs again.

When I first saw Dr. Villereal in June, the first thing he did after the exam was prescribe numerous medications, including 7.5 of Loratab, without me even asking for it. Upon taking it, I found not only did it give me great pain relief, but I was also able to function much better that before. I also received several injections, which never provided complete or lasting pain relief. However, after a urine test came back showing I did not have the Butran drug he had prescribed in my system (too expensive that month, although I did get it when I was able to afford it). I had also fallen down the stairs and went to urgent care in the evening. X-Rays showed two bone fractures, buldging disks, and degeneration of the spine. The doctor gave me a shot of valuim, and a short-term prescription of it, saying it was a muscle relaxant. I told Dr. V about everything: gave him a copy of X-Ray and told him and the nurse about the Valuim. The Valuim was in my urine when I did the sample. … Hence, I received a letter saying I was not following my plan: because Butran's did not show up, which I was suposed to be using, along with the Valuim showing up, saying I had not mentioned it. (which I most certainly had). They are now requiring me to take a urine test for every visit.) At one point, I was going to run out of the Loratab about a week before my appointment. A staff member spoke to the doctor and he said I would just have to wait until the appointment. I asked person on phone if it was good to go cold turkey for five days, and she didn't know. I told her I'd have to get a short supply of something until my appointment, because I was in so much pain already and was afraid of going without sonething I took everyday. Needless to say, when I went to my appointment I was told by his assistant, he would no longer be giving me Loratab. I told her my month's supply is gone, and I'd be without anything for pain. She didn't care, and the doctor most definitely did not care how much I was suffering in pain. I don't know what to do now. He didn't even talk to me about it himself. Very disgraceful and uncompassionate.

This is the first time I have been pain free in 15 years.
