Dr. Jose Yeguez

The worst rudest doctor I have ever encountered in my life. I wouldn’t recommend him to anybody.

Simply a outstanding surgeon.

This Dr and his assist Barbara won't work with you to rectify billing. He performed a colonoscopy and removed a polyp. Under the Affordable Care Act, this is considered a preventive treatment and covered at 100% by insurance. But because he and his office won't bill it as preventive, I am stuck with over $800 in bills from anesthesia and lab. I've tried talking to them and provider relations at the insurance co did as well. His response "he signed the paperwork, so he is responsible". "That's how I bill".

Performed colon cancer surgery successfully removing the ascending colon and appendix. I am now cancer free thanks to Doctor Yeguez. Excellent follow-up at the hospital. When he came to my hospital room with a copy of my pathology report that stated I was cancer free......you could tell he was well pleased with the report and showed a lot of care.

Excelent doctor and shows concern for finding the root of your medical condition. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Yeguez was our surgeon for a very complicated inguinal hernia 7 years ago and he was excellent. My husband was able to do everything and more after surgery with no pain, we are active and in our 30s. Recently, we moved and my husband suffered another hernia in a bad accident. Yeguez was again the surgeon we chose after meeting surgeons at 3 different hospitals, one of which was Cleveland Clinic. We actually had to fight to discharge and ended up leaving Clinic Cleveland against medical advice to come to Yeguez because cleveland wanted to force the surgery on us immediately. Yeguez is amazing. He is more experienced and knowledgeable than the surgeons at Cleveland. The teams of top surgeons there couldn't even tell us about different types of mesh, pore sizes, compositions. Yeguez explained everything on the spot, no hesitation, he detailed different ways he might approach the surgery, he answered all of my technical questions with ease, he knew pore size, shapes, types, and we… knew he was the man. He was confident in doing my husband's possible colon resection and inguinal hernia robotically. Everyone else wanted to do it as an open, invasive procedure. My husand woke up with no real pain and is walking for 30 mins at a time, eating, and being discharged today. The surgery seems to have gone perfectly so far so good!!! This is the man. Even the OR nurses told us, only they know who is most diligent and skilled in the OR. He was the OR nurses top pick. They said they can't tell us who to avoid, but they can tell us who they trust and Yeguez is the guy. He has done flawless surgeries for families of the OR staff, that's how trusted he is. I'm forever thankful!!

Dr. was nice. Most of the staff was nice too, but one person made me feel that I was not worth her time. It is amazing how one person can make a difference.

I had a traumatic experience with Dr. Jose F. Yeguez. No privacy, no client respect, treating you like a piece of meat at the flea market. He actually insulted me in front of his staff at his office. If you need a doctor to listen to you and work hard to resolve your problems, if you need a doctor that really cares about you and doesnâ??t think only on how to get to the next client and make more money, than Dr. Jose F. Yeguez is defiantly not the right doctor for you!!! I typically donâ??t like to write bad reviews about anyone, but this is a very special case and I wanted everyone to know about it, please be awareâ?¦
