Dr. Joseph Kofi Adu

Dr. Joseph Adu specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, providing comprehensive care for women throughout their reproductive years. He completed his medical education at Meharry Medical College School of Medicine and brings nine years of experience to his practice. Dr. Adu focuses on supporting women through pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecological health concerns.

Dr. Adu practices at multiple Capital Women's Care locations throughout Maryland, including Westminster, Mount Airy, and Sykesville, as well as at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. He has particular expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and addressing complications such as vaginal bleeding after the first trimester. His experience also includes caring for women experiencing antepartum depression, providing both medical and emotional support during pregnancy. Dr. Adu performs essential prenatal procedures including fetal ultrasounds and integrated prenatal screening to monitor both mother and baby's health …throughout pregnancy.
