Dr. Joseph Robert Anderson, MD

I've been seeing this doctor a very long time. Here are some of the current problems I'm seeing there: No mask-wearing in 2020 by certain staff, including the doctor; no physician's assistant EVER stays more than 2 years—red flag; 2005 Buncombe-County conviction that the doctor wrote himself a fake prescription for a stimulant drug with his former partner's stamp (!!!); very long wait times are common.

I have been going to Dr. Anderson for about 4 years and of the five or six times I've been to his office I've only seen him twice. I suddenly started having headaches and after about 3 months I called to make and appointment. I saw Dr. Anderson and he took time and talked with me and suggested I have my eyes checked as a first step. So, I saw an eye doctor and found out my vision is great, no problems there. I called Dr. Anderson's office back 3 different times and talked to a nurse and explained the whole situation and she said she would talk to the doctor and get back to me. His office NEVER called back!! I've never seen a doctors office so unorganized! Needless to say, I do not recommend Dr. Anderson to anyone.

Dr. Anderson at one time was an exceptional physician a long time ago. Now he is about the bottom line ($) and his office staff is the worst that I have ever seen. Trust me pick a different family physician.!!!!!

Dr. Anderson's wait time in office is always at least an hour. His office staff is unprofessional, does not follow through with task and never returns phone calls when leave message. Dr. Anderson is competent, but his office is not in any aspect of the word.
