With the exception of communication lacking a little bit my experience with this doctor was amazing. I had two very bad valves in which one had a lot of calcium build up. But he went in and done exactly what he said he was going to do to fix it even fixing a blockage that he had found. I feel due to him I am here today to write this review . I would also like to say he has a great bed side manner very friendly and has been by my room so far to check on me and my recovery several times. I would recommend him highly for any kind of heart surgery.

I would like to thank Doctor Arcidi for the terrific job he did giving me a new aoretic valve, and repairing my mitral valve. You did a very good job, Doctor, and I appreciate it. I no longer fight sleep behind the wheel of a car. This has been a problem all of my life. It is like getting a new lease on life. You operated on me a McLaren Hospital in Flint, MI.

This is by far the best doctor I have seen.

Dr. Joseph Arcidi met me and my family as my father was undergoing prep for a triple bypass, open-heart surgery last February. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Arcidi's kind and compassionate manner. His spirit was strong and confident, and he bolstered our spirits as he and my father went into surgery. I was most fortunate to have Dr. Arcidi in the Flint area at the particular time that I needed him. Dr. Arcidi came out of the operating room personally to let my family know what was going on, the additional problems he had discovered, and what he was going to do. Not another person talked to my family the entire 12-hour long surgery except for Dr. Arcidi. He is very meticulous and precise in all that he does. He was always forthcoming and truthful with me. Every single thing he said would happen did indeed happen.

I had emergency quadruple bypass surgery at age 53. He's an incredibly knowledgeable and very talented surgeon, but he's a very arrogant person. He only visited me once after surgery, and when I saw him he was condescending, short and indignant towards me. Aftercare visits were the same. So I don't really know how many stars to give the guy...

I had a very bad situation going on in my heart. The surgery was life saving. But just as important was the care and attention I received before and after the surgery. The encouragement lifted my spirits and gave me the courage to push through the recovery.

I found that his knowledge, extensive training, and years of experience were diminished by his level of patient care. Before during and after my surgery, he had my best interest at heart. He watched over me like he was my own personal guardian angel.

I was really very ill when I met Dr. Arcidi. I had just had open heart surgery 11 months prior at another hospital and could not believe that I had to have another heart valve replacement. I was very skeptical of this new surgeon. I had never heard of a cardio thoracic surgeon before. My daughter looked up his credentials and was very impressed. The more I spoke to Dr. Arcidi the more I realized the compassion he had for me and his extreme interest in getting things done correctly. This combination of competence and compassion instills trust. The kind of trust I needed to feel safe in the hands of this surgeon. Once safely through the surgery, his caring manner continued through out my recovery both in and out of the hospital. This man exceeds the standard on all levels. I highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Arcidi is the best of the best in his field. He is a wonderful man who cares deeply for his patients. He saved my life when I had massive heart attack and needed a quadruple bypass. One cannot find a better physician. I heartily recommend him.
