Dr.Asaro is probably one of the most competent doctor I have had the pleasure of meeting.His removal of my gall bladder in nothing short of a miracle.His patience and ease of explaining what the surgery is like what to expect and how it is done is so precise that you are assured it willed be expertly done. From the preop visit to surgery and subsequent calls after to follow up postop you are monitored. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are knowledgable of all that is to be done even while you are prep and waiting for the operation to commence. His staff at his out patient office and surgical staff are true professional .The OR staff review every step prior to surgery to make sure that you fully understand what will be done.My sincere thanks an appreciation Dr.Joseph Salvatore Anthony Asaro and his wonderful staff.

Dr. Joseph Asaro performed gall bladder surgery on my husband in 2017 and he was timely, friendly and willing to explain any concerns we had. I highly recommend him for any type of surgery! Such a pleasant person and great physician! Surgery was a great success and no further issues!

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Asaro from his great personality/sense of humor to his excellent skills/professionalism he is the one you want to take care of you if you need surgery. I had horrible stomach pains and nausea FOR YEARS and nobody could figure out what was wrong. Dr. Asaro explained to me that although all of my tests have been negative that to him it sounded like my gallbladder was the problem. He offered to remove it for me and I felt very comfortable with his reasoning. Best decision of my life I am pain free nausea free able to eat anything i want and the whole surgical experience was perfect from beginning to end! Smart doctor with your best interest in heart not in it for the money takes his time and involves you in the decision process. Confident but not cocky I can go on and on but I think you get the picture.

Would recommend to anybody needing surgery. He is a great surgeon who explained everything that was going to happen and put me at ease even though I was very nervous. He even called me to check on me the evening of my surgery. Overall a great experience, quality doctor.

I went into the hospital with horrible belly pain. Come to find out I had a large tumor in my belly attached to my intestine which caused it to collapse! Had emergency surgery done by Dr Asaro! He did a great job and you can barely see the surgery scar! I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr Asaro seen my dad @ Trident ER when he had several broken ribs and then again when I had to rush him to the er for abdominal pains. He had to do an emergency surgery to remove dad's spleen and I am so appreciative of him and his entire surgical team! Dr Asaro is absolutely amazing in his work and has the best bedside manners! Thank you so much for saving my daddy's life!
