Dr. Joseph Ernest Badolato, DO

I moved away from the Pacific NW when I remarried however Dr Badaloto was my primary care dr as a chronic pain patient for about 6 years prior to that time. He was always very caring,and honest with me about my situation, gave me needed referrals and helped me through some difficult situations in my life. I greatly appreciate him and his staff and how they helped me and I have not been as happy with finding replacement medical care where I currently live here in Ohio as I was with Dr Badolato. I did and still would encourage anyone looking for a physician to see Dr Badolato in the Vancouver area.

Great Doctor who seeks to find the real problem.

Great doc for over 8 years. Recommended by a pharmacist and second high opinion given by our realtor. Since then Dr. Badolato has cared for my husband and myself. His diagnosis has always been accurate and we highly rate the docs he refers us to. Referrals have included a neurologist, an oncologist and PT. My husband's life has been spared by taking Dr. Badolato's advice.

I was lied to by his staff as to the kinds of patients he will see( I'm a chronic pain patient). He does not do New chronic pain medication patients, he informed me of that first thing when I finally saw him. It took me over 45 min. to see the Dr. after my appointed time. He didn't look at my psoriasis nor give me the prescriptions I asked for on that condition. I was quoted $150 and had to pay in advance, then I was billed another $75. He did no tests nor looked at any part of my body other than feel my back and agree I have a problem. He did however spend considerable time trashing my previous Dr. Informing me he probably could have his license taken and charged by the DEA. Dr. Badolato had no medical records nor any diagnostic ex rays or MRIs to base his decision on. I did not wish to stay in the room with him immediately after he informed me he did not take new chronic pain patients and informed him there was no reason for me to be there then since that was what I'd made the appt… for. I'm 15 years now with chronic back pain and my regular Dr. stopped dispensing pain meds to all of his patients. It took two weeks and MANY phone calls to find Dr. Badolato and wait for my appointment. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend ANY patient to this facility or Dr. My worst experience ever with any dr. Matter of fact he is the only Dr. I've ever had any issue with, hence why I'm writing this. If my arm were to fall off I would not consider this Dr. I did see "many" new patients filling out there new patient forms. About 20% of the patients were new it appeared from the forms in there hands. I can only speculate now why. Few would return to that Dr. I'm sure he must help someone though? Or is he just after the money? Seems that way to me since I spoke with the office staff immediately after my visit with him requesting they refund my money to my card. They went to talk to the Dr. and he felt justified apparently since no refund and even billed me for another $75 with no explanation.
