Joseph I. Bailey, MD

Dr. Joseph Bailey is a pulmonologist and critical care medicine specialist who brings 11 years of medical experience to his practice. He earned his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed his residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital (Cornell Campus) in 2018. Dr. Bailey furthered his training with a fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, finishing in 2022.

Dr. Bailey practices at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and sees patients at the Northwestern Medicine Canning Thoracic Institute in Chicago, Illinois. He specializes in treating respiratory conditions including asthma and pediatric asthma, as well as managing respiratory failure in critically ill patients. His expertise includes performing therapeutic hypothermia procedures and interpreting arterial blood gas analyses to guide patient care.
