Dr. Joseph George Battaglia, MD

Having a heart attack and was transported to Crouse Hospital, saw Dr. Battaglia who performed an angiogram and reviewed the findings with me. Bottom line he recommended another Dr. and hospital that would do the emergency surgery for a triple by pass. I asked if he could put in some stents and he explained the artery damage was too great and the triple by pass was the only solution. His honesty and professionalism is something I will always remember, I am proud to have him as my cardiac Dr.

Was my cardiologist for the few years I lived in the area. Never cared for his arrogant, authoritarian attitude. Doesn't care for a patient to question procedures, etc. Moved from Syracuse and found a much better doctor who keeps fair appointment times and isn't called out of the office so frequently to perform caths.
