He did great work on me. I’m sorry I did not see him after the surgery until my follow up visit. It would have been nice to hear about the surgery and what he found from him, rather than a visit from his post op team. Other than this I would highly recommend Dr.Bavaria. He really is a nice confident person with great support teams.

Operated by dr bavaria one year ago. Had bleeder 3 hours later and had to have second surgery same day! 9 days in Penn. Have had residual nerve damage in left hand and left foot entire year! Now have broken sternal wire diagnosed by CT scan. Waiting 40 days to see Dr Bavaria after this recent diagnosis. Don’t really understand lack of any sense of urgency from him or his staff of assistants. I’m walking around with broken wire in my chest and every move generates noise in my chest from sternum rubbing against itself. Unsat

Dr. Bavaria operated on me in 2005, in a difficult seven hour aorta operation . Removed and replaced 10" of my defective aorta, plus replacing my heart valve with a St Jude valve. Now, at age 82, I cannot thank him enough for a great job he did! Bob Gaydos, Turnersville, NJ

The above criteria means nothing. When it was recommended that I have an aortic valve replacement at the age of 20 and cumiden for the rest of my life, Dr. Bavaria repaired my severe bicuspid aortic valve regurgitation. He was amazing!

My father was tethering on the edge of life; his heart was on the edge of failure; he was going for a very high risk surgeryâ?¦but, thanks to Dr. Bavariaâ??s dauntlessness, expertise and exceptional skill, my fatherâ??s heart got a second chance to live. Dr. Bavaria has given us a miracle. We are extremely thankful for Dr. Bavariaâ??s operation, his time and his sacrifice to save my father. Not only that, but we also appreciate the time Dr. Bavaria took, even after so many hours in the OR, to patiently explain to us the state my father was at physically before the surgery, the incredible work required to fix my fatherâ??s heart and what we should expect in both the immediate and long term future of my fatherâ??s recovery.
