Dr. Joseph John Bear, MD

Didn’t give sufficient pain meds after surgery. His whole staff heard him tell me that he would give narcotic pain meds for after surgery. I refused then when offered before surgery. He failed to return my call since after my surgery. I’d been 4 days. The office phone stays busy. I regret having this procedure or trusting him with my care

After scheduling an appointment to see Dr, Joseph Bear at Dr Ste 320 bldg A, Macon GA 31217, I was informed by his medical staff that he refuses to see any patient seeking a second opinion if they've seen another urologist within the past 3 yrs. I thought this was strange so I called back to confirm that I received to correct information and sure enough; I did. Based on this irrefutable evidence, I find myself in complete disagreement with the other review he received. Especially since he took the Hippocratic Oath and is apparently picking which patient is worthy of that oath. (Until further notice and an explanation from him, I am forced to give him the lowest rating possible.).

Dr.Bear is the best urologist I have ever met! He is compassionate, thorough, kind. He takes as much time as you need and explains every single detail of your issue, he will show you all of your xrays and scans. He has performed surgery on my husband and myself, we would not go anywhere else!
