Dr. Joseph Jon Bennett, MD

He is rude and nasty. He sends patients home with no pain meds after major surgery with papers prohibiting them to receive any relief from anywhere else. This guy is a joke, he talks as if he is above people. He refuses any questions or even deal with patients. He is a sad little pathetic man with an extremely over inflated ego. That clearly takes out his deep rooted insecurities out on his staff and patients.

I've read several reviews that were negative about DR. Bennet's bedside manner, I agree he may not have been the best in that regard, however it didnt matter to me. My first surgeon of choice , upon doing a colonsosopy and reviewing MRI"s declined to do the surgey i required and referred me to Dr. Bennet.. After reviewing my previous tests , he told me that I was definitly a mess but that he would repair it. His confidence in his ability was assuring.He was straightforward in letting me know that cancer could not be ruled out until the surgery was performed. Waking after the surgery, He greeted me with a huge smile, told me i had been a challange, and that pathology confirmed, no cancer. rearding the office staff, it took me awhile to like them, however , it seems that were in the process of using a new computer system, and likely a bit confused and over whelmed. two in particular were always very helpfull and went out of their way to get answers to questions I had. when… they said," if you have ANY questions, call us. they meant it. The bottom line, in my opinion, if you were referred to Dr. Bennet, consider Yourself fortunate. Most likely you are going through a challanging time, the scheduling and juggling of appointments , can be frustrating. be patient.

Horrible bedside manner and misdiagnosed my problem

I have met Dr. Bennett just once as a patient. He will be my surgeon for my pancreatic cancer. My tumor has to shrink more before Dr. Bennett wants to proceed with surgery. I have faith in all the decisions he makes regarding my condition and treatment.

Dr. Bennett is very professional and willing to take his time to answer questions you or your family may have. He was willing to spend as much time as necessary to explain the procedures required and choices I had. He always has a smile for his patients. I appreciate his professionalism and caring attitude.
