Dr. Joseph John Blasiol JR., DO

My friend Dan, who overdosed several years ago, used to go to this doctor. He overdosed several years ago, but before that happened he switched because the doctor was rude and disrespectful, because of my friends drug use. I bring this up, because my friends younger brother, just got back from an appointment with Blaisol; where he was berated because he has smoked weed, and after being condescendingly asked what he intended to do with his life: the doctor had the gall to berate his goal, and dismissed it as a fantasy. He said and I quote: "You're not even gonna pass high-school." Blasiol is a horrible example of a person, and a doctor, and should not be allowed to treat patients way.

I was appalled to hear from a relative how this "Doctor" treated them. Condescending, sexist, arrogant. DO NOT SEE THIS MAN for any reason, seek qualified medical care instead

We saw this doctor at Cedar Crest Emergency Center for a follow up on an abscess wound, after informing him of the previous practitioners treatment plan ( which would only require him to remove packing from the wound) until the original doctor returned. Instead he tried to change the entire treatment plan and chose to insult the patient for daring to voice her concerns about the new plan, and attempted to scare her into submission with talk of infections and major surgery. When she finally had to ask him to stop because she did not feel comfortable with him, he sloppily bandaged the wound and told her to wait eleven days for her previous female doctor to return, which is impossible with a packed wound. Please do not see this doctor, I feel like I need a shower.

Dr Blasiol and his staff are extremely carind and thorough in their care and follow up. There was a time when my 5 yr old son had some health issues and he called on his own to check and see how he was. There have also been times when he is booked, but we need to get in to see a doc, and he would stay after hours to see us.Highly recommended!
