Dr. Joseph G. Borer, MD

He was the only doctor who gave us an honest opinion, and not only he cared about our daughter's health but he he cared about impact of her VUR to our family.

My infant was diagnosed with VUR grade 4. We ended up seeing Dr. Borer after visiting with 4 other doctors. And we traveled from DC to Boston to meet Dr. Borer. He was the first doctor who clearly laid out our options, pros and cons, and gave us a clear direction on what the most effective solution is, which ended being a corrective surgery. My daughter is doing well and no more infections/hospital visits.

He created a urethra for my daughter and saved her from permanently being catheterized!!!!!

Kept waiting for two hours with a grumpy two year old. Brings up the wrong file on his computer and starts talking about the problem that my daughter does not have. I corrected him, he then brought up the right file and told me in less details exactly what I had heard from the technician who had performed the scan two hours earlier. Not even an apology and now after 3 months they send a bill for the co-pay. Their billing department could care less that I had a bad experience and even went so far as to say "everyone waits for the doctor". Office manager finally waived the co-pay. Good for them.

I have a fantastic thriving 5 year old daughter with normal renal function. Dr Borer re-implanted her ureters at 4 mos of age. Her renal function has returned to normal and she has the kidneys of a perfectly healthy 5 year old. I have recomended him to friends and continue to do so.Respectfully,Beth Woods APRN

We had a great overall expiernce with Dr. Borer. We came from Cleveland to see him, so everyone was expecting us. Everyone around him including himself was more then kind, understanding, and knew what they were talking about.
