Dr. Joseph F Boveri, MD

Do not go to this man for cancer treatment. He treats his patients like lab rats. He doesn't treat the whole person--he just looks at the tumors as a problem to be solved. He doesn't really care about the well-being of his patients. He also doesn't believe in palliative care or hospice to help his patients feel comfortable when they are terminally ill--he'd rather give them false hope. To be fair, I feel this way about most oncologists, and I think it's a fault of how they are trained in this country. Dr. Boveri is just like all the rest.

I have been a patient of Dr. Boveri for over 5 years . He and his staff have always been very helpful and Dr. Boveri’s knowledge and bedside manner have been nothing less than exemplary. I am a Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer survivor for over 32 years now and Dr. Boveri and Dr. Spann are by far by the best Gynecological Oncologists I have ever seen . I only regret not having found them earlier in my path of survival . They and their staff are the best !

Dr. Boveri has no bedside manners. His staff is very rude and will not return phone calls..wait time is ridiculous! I decided to go to this practice because of referrals from previous patients...only to be highly disappointed.

3 Hours in this office! And yet the quickest exam I have ever had. Did not feel like waiting to get STD testing, and they did not set it up after I requested it, I will have to go somewhere else and pay again. Please do not have people waiting that is not a good business model and it makes people, your patients, feel like you don't care.

I was terrified when I first met Dr. Boveri, after two other doctors had not been very encouraging about my prognosis. Dr. Boveri was full of good information and seemed surprised at the "doom and gloom", which gave me immediate confidence. As it turned out, my confidence was well-placed. 9 years later, I am still cancer-free. I owe it all to Dr. Boveri; he saved my life and will forever be My Hero.
