Dr. Joseph A Buzogany, MD

A cocky jerkxff. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. I just came from my worst time in my life and he just didn't care. The questions and things that he said to my Wife unbeknownst to me at the time are even worse. He is on a power trip.

I am thoroughly unimpressed with this doc. He's not particularly good at listening to the details of a case, tries to shoehorn his patients into narrow diagnostic categories, and is woefully behind on current treatments for the disorders on which he is supposed to be an expert. Add to this an abrasive personality and a curiously inflated ego, and it makes for a very poor physician-patient relationship. I'm not sure which version of the DSM was around when he graduated, but he unfortunately is a good example of how "experienced" can actually mean "antiquated" when physicians do not commit to lifelong learning.

Do not visit this unprofessional foul person

This "doctor" is careless and egotistical. I did not feel safe in the same room as him. He was constantly twisting my words and wanting to diagnose me with psychotic disorders I clearly do not have. I walked in to seek help for depression due to my parents passing away and this "doctor" wants to slap a schizo label on me.

This person is very egotistical and won't listen to your concerns. He doesn't care. He will miss many appointments and will rush you. By far the worst I've ever experienced.

If you are looking for someone to help you rationally work through whatever has caused you to seek professional help in the first place, please keep looking. This "psychiatrist" is truly one of the most disgusting humans I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. To put simply, Buzogany with twist your words trying to make you believe your sick when your not, spin you around, then push you out the door! Not before sticking you with the bill of course. To put kindly, you would be better off taking advice from a baboon.

This doctor is awesome. He is kind and very efficient. H e alway had a smile to greet patient

Yes, his "bedside manner" is a bit abrupt, but he was able to find a combo of meds that really help with my anxiety. One generic form of something caused an issue with me, I told him and he immediately found another generic version that was perfect. The pharmacy even said they rarely have Dr's requesting a SPECIFIC generic (kind of an oxymoron, yes?)

Dr Buzogany was an asset to my ongoing struggles with anxiety, depression & bipolar disorder. he listened when I had problems even if I talked his ear off. He had a great sense of humor and lightened my mood when I was at my worse. he responded quickly when I had medication issues. He has relocated elsewhere which makes me sad because no other psychiatrist will live up to my expectations.

I have been a long time patient of him.He has successfully treated my Bipolar.He will spend more time with me during appointments if I need extra time.He is very knowledgeable and I trust his abilities.
