Dr. Joseph Cambareri, MD

I have been a patient with Dr. Joseph Cambareri for over 30 years. The last 5 years I have suffered with critical health issues. I have always been able to talk with him without feeling rushed and he answered all my questions no matter how stupid they were. He worked very intensely with my specialty doctors and even after an incident in the ER where I died for 25 minutes due to an allergic reaction that the hospital gave me he stuck with me. I felt very safe in his care and no matter how sick I am he has pulled me through. It is with a heavy heart that he has had to give up his practice because of medical issues himself. I am bewildered about who I can find to fill his shoes. This is the worst time in my life and I really need someone like him taking care of me. I pray for him every day that what whatever his medical condition is , that he will be able to live several more years to make up for all the hard work and dedication he's had for others, and that he does not have to suffer. He… is the best family practioner so far that I have ever had and so I would rate him a 10. If I could vote higher I would. God bless you Dr. Joseph Cambareri.

I had a new patient appointment scheduled only to have his office manager call me less than a week before my visit to tell me I had too many medical problems for him, thanks but no thanks, I don't want to see a doctor that can't handle my medical issues. Then his office manager said she would call me back and never did!! VERY unprofessionalism, I am a nurse practitioner myself and would NEVER treat a patient the way I was treated!! Do NOT go to this doctor unless all you have is a cold, he's very unqualified!

I have been with Dr Cambareri for many years, for myself and my children, that have grown up. In all my visits I had one long wait, not Doctors fault if emergencies occur. I have always had excellent care, and Dr always takes time to explain, Never rushes.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Cambareri for 30 years. He has taken care of my grandparents, my parents, myself and my husband, and my children. He knows us extremely well, is very caring and knowledgeable, and I know I can trust him with our health care for our entire lives and family.

My family have been patients for 20 plus years. He takes his time with you each visit, he cares about your overall well being, and is an awesome doctor. He treats you with respect and most of all he listens to your concerns and refers you to some of the best doctors. In my 69 years of life I would consider him the best doctor I have ever been treated by. My wife would not have survived her Scleroderma had Dr. Joseph Cambareri not been our physician. He got her in to see specialist in days not weeks or months. My family feels we are blessed to be his patients.

Dr. Cambareri and his staff are caring,professionals who make your visit to their office as pleasant as possible.

Does not act like he cares or follows up

I had a physical a couple of years ago & was charged for an EKG which I did not need. I was told it was mandatory which meant that I was not covered for my yearly free physical with United Healthcare. I had to pay a deductible due to the EKG. I have had a slight cough on & off for the last 2- 3 years. I was worried about lung cancer. When I questioned the office in regard to the EKG there was a debate. When all failed I now am told that I had Bronchitis when I had my physical & was given a prescription . If I was given a prescription I would have thrown it out as I absolutely did not have Bronchitis with just a slight cough that comes & goes. Dr. Cambereri said he would refund my Co-pay but changed his mind after talking to the Doctor who is on his staff that CLAIMED it was Bronchitis. Honestly why would I ever have this complaint if I really did have Bronchitis ?

I love Dr. Camberari. His professionalism is the best and he truly cares about his patients. There has never ever been a time when I was disappointed with seeing him. The only time that I am disappointed is when I have to see one of the other Dr's. Although I must say that they are a great fit in his practice. They have never made me feel uncomfortable in the least. As for the staff. They know me by name even when I haven't been there in forever. I love this office and hope to never have to change it.
