I have been fortunate to have been assigned to Dr. Camps following my original doctor’s departure from the practice. He’s the best.

Dr. Camps is a well trained Urologist, with a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology. He saved my life from early bladder cancer. He is kind, understanding and a good listener. A very talented and considerate doctor, who explains treatment and prognosis.

My husband has been dealing with an aggressive bladder cancer for going on 4 years. We are new to Tallahassee and Dr. Camps made our transition from a doctor in our old hometown easy. He has a relaxed approach and seems very interested in YOUR issues. He listened carefully to my husbands history, gave his advice and suggestions to what he felt was of import. On a different symptom he made a suggestion for a doctor for a second opinion. We will take his advice and get that. Thank you, Dr. Camp we appreciate your care! Staff from making appt to reception, nursing etc was friendly and warm. Very good experience across the board. We would recommend Dr. Joseph Camps!

Great Doctor

Dont let the big smile fool you, this guy is burnt-out or just likes to do incompetent surgical procedures. He had me in three times(surgery) for one stone. He left large (2-3mm.)fragments that I could not pass from a Holmium Laser procedure. Never cultured my urine or stones. His office would not return my urgent calls and he lied to me and my wife as to the success of his surgical intervention. Eventually I fired him and got an excellent urologist from the same practice, who was able to do the surgery properly and resolve my problems with one procedure. Heed this warning!
