Dr castelli ,Dr Hirshman ,Laura and all the stafff r absolutely wonderful.I recently delivered my daughter safely in Bryan mawr hospital .I came to USA in 2021 and when I found I was pregnant with my first one ,I started looking fr good ob/gyn near by then I found dr castelli in Kop area !! Each visit has been professional,timely & thorough.I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to whole team.

Dr. Castelli and staff are amazing! I normally hate going to the doctors but he gave me the best experience I’ve ever had when it comes to any type of healthcare. Highly recommended to any woman looking for a gyno/OB. He acted quickly when I broke a temperature during labor and ensured my baby was safe by choosing to conduct an emergency c section. Doctor Castelli handled all of my prenatal care & delivered my baby six weeks ago. He went above and beyond to make sure my baby & I were taken care of. He was both respectful and accommodating. I appreciate him & his office staff very much and cannot recommend them enough.

If I can give this Dr 0 stars, I would. He has the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered in a physician. I went to the hospital to be checked if I was in active labor and he told me I can’t come in, which contradicted everything I’ve been told by my OBGYN. He then told me I wasn’t dilated at all and to go home, which 2 previous OBGYNs told me I was 2cm? The worst experience, if my water broke right now, I would take my chances and go to another hospital rather than deal with him.

Dr. Castelli, Dr. Hirshman, and their staff are incredible! Throughout both of my pregnancies with this office I have felt supported, cared for, and guided every step of the way through my pregnancies and births. My pregnancies were considered somewhat high risk, and being with this team always made me feel comfortable and at ease. Any time I was concerned or needed a question answered the staff was available and ready to help. With my son, Dr. Hirshman helped me throughout the entire process during my extensive labor and into a c-section. I knew I could trust him to care for me and make sure my son was safe! He was always calm and patient and ready to explain everything throughly. With my daughter, I had complications with preeclampsia and cholestasis of pregnancy and had to deliver at 30 weeks. Dr. Castelli calmly and patiently talked through every detail with me before performing my c-section and bringing my beautiful little girl safely into the world! I was grateful for his… professionalism and kindness at this very scary time. Having experienced a late term loss with my first pregnancy (prior to my son and daughter) before meeting this team of dedicated healthcare workers, was one of the hardest things I ever experienced. Going forward to deliver my two greatest gifts with this team was no doubt one of the best decisions me and my husband ever made. Thank you for caring for my family!

Dr. Castelli is the best of the best! I drive from the city to KOP/Main Line to see him, as he really is amazing. I've been a patient for almost 10 years. Recently, he delivered my daughter. Originally it was a induction with vaginal birth planned, but we had to switch to a C-Section. Through out the entire process Dr. Castelli kept my husband and I in the loop of my care. He is 100% honest and tells you the truth, no sugar coating (which I love). His entire team both at the office and at the hospital are phenomenal. I'd suggest him for anyone in the area looking for a great, experienced doctor that truly cares about his paitents.

Dr. Castelli is the best of the best. I was pretty anxious throughout my pregnancy and he was always patient with my many and often repetitive questions. No matter how busy he was he always took the time to make sure I understood everything and felt comfortable. I always appreciated the thought he put into our conversations; he would teach me the medical terms and then explain them using a metaphor that I could relate to and easily understand. He is also great about calling you back himself to check on you if you call the office with a question/concern. His wife and nurse Tracy is phenomenal, she is very warm and always happy to see you. She put me at ease every time I saw her and always had words of advice and encouragement. I always looked forward to my appointments and have missed going into the office to see them! I was so relieved to have Dr. Castelli deliver my baby, he was incredibly calm, which I really needed. I was amazed at his ability to coach me, deliver my baby, and… train his resident at the same time all while remaining very present. Bryn Mawr hospital was a wonderful place to deliver, the facility is very nice and the staff are great. Almost every nurse I had during labor and delivery came back to congratulate me and check on me after my daughter was born. I was impressed with how personal the entire experience was, from my very first appointment to leaving the hospital with my new baby, especially with it being in the middle of COVID-19. You can’t go wrong with Dr. Castelli!

When I moved to Havertown in 2019 I was in need of a new OBGYN. I searched "Best of the Main Line" and came across Dr. Castelli. He and his staff proved to be nothing short of that. A year from my first initial check up visit, Dr. Castelli delivered my first child. Dr. Castelli, his wife and nurse Tracy, and staff made every visit comfortable. Dr. Castelli's laid back approach and calm demeanor put me at ease at I was experiencing many firsts during pregnancy, and dealing with a pandemic on top of everything. I was never afraid to go to the doctor and quickly established trust with Dr. Castelli. My delivery experience was better than I could have ever expected, again because Dr. Castelli made me feel comfortable and made everything simple. I highly recommend Dr. Castelli and his staff in addition to the L&D and postpartum nursing team at Bryn Mawr Hospital.

I had preeclampsia during my first pregnancy. I was so scared when I was sent to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance. At that time, preeclampsia developed very high blood pressure very fast. During that super dangerous situation, I met Dr. Castelli and he had the accurate diagnostic quickly and treated it very well. I was so impressed by his professionalism, kind and excellent care. Dr. Castelli save my life. He is absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend!

Dr. Castelli is the best OB/GYN! He is caring and compassionate, extremely knowledgeable and well practiced. Dr. Castelli’s calm and friendly demeanor sets you at ease. I know that I’ve been in great hands, with the 4 babies that I’ve had with Women’s Healthcare. They are a fabulous team, with great communication, who provide a lovely feeling of belonging when you walk into the office. You can’t go wrong with Dr. Castelli!
