Dr. Joseph D. Ciacci, MD

I wouldn't allow this guy to walk my dog to the corner. If you are considering having him commit surgery on you, take my advice: DON'T DO IT!!!

Ciacci operated on my neck. It is now ten times worse than it was before. Plus, the surgery and recovery were an ordeal. If I could give you one piece of advice, don't let this guy operate on you. I thought my problems were bad but I would give anything to have them back the way they were pre-Ciacci.

I have first hand experience with a surgical procedure with Dr. Ciacci. He is the most less arrogant Doctor I have ever met. It is true that you can endure long waits however he will spend time with you just like other patients if he runs behind schedule. I had a total reconstructive surgery on my neck from C3 to C7. He performed anterior and posterior a titanium cage on C3,4,5. The surgery was 12 hours long and a complete success! I am elated two years later. He does not believe in unnecessary surgery. He is very understated about his abilities. I am going back to him as I have another compression fracture in my lower back. He will be performing two operations two days apart. The first being Anterior approach where he will have a Vascular surgeon prepare my insides to be moved to expose the spine. He will then replace discs that are crushed and two days later will perform a posterior approach to stabilize with titanium rods, screws and bolts. I would highly recommend his work. My… neck had chronic pain for 30 years and is now for the most part pain free. I believe if he turned someone away for surgery it is not needed. He does not need to examine you I he has the MRI as he is very competent at interpretation.
