Dr. Joseph S. Cody, MD

Dr. Cody does not believe an adult woman can be responsible for her own medical choices. He believes woman when whimsically change their minds about throughly thought out medical decisions. He also doesn’t believe you could possibly know what you want unless you also have an M.D. behind your name. He is very condescending and laughs at any research you might do for yourself because “google” doesn’t make you smarter than him. Nobody with such self-importance and disdain for people who advocate for themselves could ever be a worth while dr. Go to someone who is in medicine to help and not just to be conceited.

Unfortunately this doctor was unable to see me after I waited in the reception area for my appointment. He was also unable to reschedule my visit for over 30 days out. I will never visit this physician again.

this dr does not have enough experience to treat a patient with crohns. after less than 2 months he basically told me i have nothing else for you and everytime i went to see him he would send me to the surgeon to schedule an operation. THANK GOD i took advice of others and went to shands in gainesville. if you have a complicated diagnosis like crohns DO NOT go to this dr. go to a dr with more experience and knowledge. i was treated in gainseville and did not have to have an operation, if i would have listened to dr cody i would have had a major surgery.....PLEASE find a different dr for your own sake

He is well trainined, with much very good experience. Dr. Cody is very easy to deal with and his results are excellent. He's really concernd and he offers more than most. He will sit with you or yalk with you on the phone and answer all your questions and he calls when there is a new report
