Dr. Joseph Theodore Cohn, MD

Dr.Joe was my dr. For a year. He always knew right away what was wrong and how to treat it. His bedside manner was excellent and he always talk to you like you were a friend not just a patient.and Tiffany was always so sweet and helpful.

I am a pharmacist, have known Dr. Cohn for 45 years professionally, and have been a patient for 40 years. Dr. Cohn's voice can calm just about anybody. His bedside manner is fantastic, he makes accurate diagnoses, and is willing to think "outside of the box". He listens to his patients concerns and thoughts, and takes ample times to explain or discuss different treatment ideas. As a "pharmacist-patient", Joe and I share ideas about my treatment and more than once I have suggested a treatment manner different than what he had suggested, but is certainly willing to go back and forth with me until we come up with the best manner of treatment. I had a motor vehicle accident in 1998 which at times left certain parts of my body paralysed and had chronic intractable pain, first showing in my cervical vertebrae, being unable to lift my right arm, or turn my head. He suggested a neurosurgeon examination, which I had done, but did not like his manner of treatment. Dr. Joe and I went back and… forth with my pain management, and although he is not "board certified" as a pain management physician, is better than most board certified pain management doctors, in my opinion as a pharmacist. The anonymous person who wrote the review castigating Dr. Cohn was not only an obvious attempt to cause trouble for Joe, and was patently untrue!

Have had pleasure of having Dr.cohn as my Dr. For 28 years.When seeing other doctors upon entering the exiam room the typical Dr.might ask your reason for the appointment,not Dr.Cohn he engages you in general conversation I believe to take your " emotional temperature to detect any under lying problems that my effect his diagnosis

Consider that he only takes on new patients if they are highly referred, it goes without saying this is a special person. Very kind, beyond personable, I think he is the most noble healer I've had the pleasure of meeting.

There is only ONE Dr. Cohn on the planet! My family of 6 was cared for with Intelligence and skill and genuine caring! iI have not been able to find another Dr. like Dr Cohn. I moved to FL and miss him terribly! He always took TIME to fully answer questions and come up with insight and skilled replies! From newborns to adult GYN issues, Dr. Cohn handled it all!

I just have to tell you that you are my yardstick in measuring doctors, and so far none have come close! Your caring and compassion is beyond words, not only to me, but my whole family. Take care and God Bless

Dr. Joe has been practicing for over 30 years and it shows. He is a brilliant man (even though he is a "primary care physician" and sometimes I hear his ideas dismissed by my specialists since he isn't a specialist in their area) and has been far, far more helpful to me than the stream of specialists I've seen. He comes up with out of the box ideas and is willing to stick with a tricky presentation when other doctors just shrug their shoulders and suggest another doctor. He is compassionate and treats patients as real people with real lives. I can't recommend him highly enough - it goes a long way when a doctor always (always!) is wearing a button that says "I love my job!" Thanks Joe!!

Dr. Cohn has been my primary physician for about 20 years and I'm fully satisfied with the care that he has provided. I continue to be particularly impressed that he provides full details of his diagnosis and is willing to answer any questions that I have during each visit. This adds to my confidence that Dr. Cohn has given considerable thought to my condition and is providing the appropriate treatment.

I think he is terrific. I am so glad he was reccommended to us and that he had room to take all of us.
