Dr. Joseph Aaron Cook, MD

Dr. Cook is a very professional and a wonderful doctor. He is very polite. He listened to our concern carefully. We can understand him very well although we are not medically trained. He is a brilliant doctor. He explained well using picture and answered to all our questions. It was a pleasure and honor to meet him. We would recommend him to all our friends. Dr Cook is the worst doctor we have ever seen. My husband is a spry 70 year old pilot, jet boater and rafter. But Dr Cook treated my husband like a sack of potatoes as they put him out before talking with him and he was on his back. My husband has had colonoscopies before but Dr Cook actually hurt him all the way from the beginning and up! Even his stomach hurt. My husband said it felt like a full sized camera was used! AVOID him!

He provided information before a medical procedure I was having and after the procedure he discussed what he found and his recommendations. I recently had a colonoscopy done by Dr. Joseph A. Cook at Digestive Health Clinic in Nampa, ID. I had an extremely good experience with Dr. Cook and the Clinic’s staff members. Dr. Cook is an excellent doctor. In an introductory appointment he took the time to talk to me in detail about the procedure and my unique issues that had an impact on the procedure. After the colonoscopy he provided detailed feedback on the status of my colon. Prior to the procedure, the clinic staff was very good in providing information and during the procedure the staff was very caring and knowledgeable. The doctor seemed to show no sign of concern at first and my thoughts were justified after waiting over forty minutes for him to shoot the breeze with a friend while I waited for a follow up wih him. No matter how knowledgable he may be as a doctor his bed side manner and patient care is far from acceptable.

Dr. Cook is incredibly knowledgable and I appreciate that he asked my opinion in my treatment after steriods made me sick. He was willing to see me on the same day when I walked in with a question which is unheard of in the military. I highly recommend Dr. Cook to any service member in need of a good Gastroenterologist.
