Saw Dr Cuccia years ago when he was in practice in GA. He was of no help as in zero for me..... one visit and I was done with him. He didn’t listen to me as my condition was I’m sure went over in medical school .... he only called me a vague historian and sent me to a neuro surgeon (who also didn’t listen to me. I had a useless cervical fusion from that referral and the neuro surgeon didn’t listen to me but rather scolded me in fear that I would be paralyzed if I didn’t have the cervical fusion ..... so I had it and zero help to my neurological condition after the surgery and healing time. My condition is rare (1 in a million). So the day Dr Cuccia was in medical school and they went over stiff person syndrome he was apparently asleep! I finally was referred to an amazing neurologist. It took only 2 visits and he diagnosed me! Blood work for the antibody I have was there and still is 15 years later but I got help....and since knowing Dr Cuccia dabbles in psychiatry I bet he… thought I was just a psycho since he said I was a vague historian.... maybe I was but I was falling like a plank of board for a reason ...... not because he had no idea or cared to have an idea.... as my current neurologist said .... the best thing he learned in medical school was if you’ll listen to your patient they can usually tell you what is wrong with them! Dr Cuccia good luck and blessings to you in your retirement. You don’t have to listen to patients any more .... vague or notebook style either one.

My heart is broken because Dr.Cuccia saved my life. I was having staring seizures and i was terrified and he made it ok and gave me medicine and fixed the problem..he told me on my last visit that he was retiring and i am really afraid now i dont know what to do i need him. Doc Taria Johnson appreciates everything and i want to Thank You. You are a good man.

I am sad to see Dr. Cuccia discontinue practicing. He has taken very good care of my husband.

I went to see him for epileptic seizures. He ran a couple of test & confirmed the epilepsy. Gave me a prescription for Depkote. After still having seizures he said he didn't know anything else to do. I went to UAB & now my seizures are under control.

me and my wife went to see the dr i was worried about the dr was not going help me and my wife the story i want to say me and my wife was going to a dr in birmgam we where going two times a month and was not told anything all the dr would just walk in room never set down but dr cuccia was god sent i would trust him with my live

Went to him after experiencing horrible nerve pain after an auto accident where I was hit by a drugged driver. Did a nerve test which proved I had damaged nerves, second visit he tells me he doesn't see auto accident patients and kicks me out and tells me not to come back! I was in shock and felt humiliated. Never mentioned anything about suing the person that hit me cause the nerve pain might not even be from that but he assumed it of me. Horrible man!!
