Dr. Joseph Gerard Cunniff, MD

I have never met a doctor who showed less interest in providing treatment. I agree with other comments. He dismisses pain and denies treatment.

It was obvious he didn’t want to help me. He agreed to order a X-ray guided shot to help eliminate pain. A few days later he had his nurse call me and lie for him, wanting to cancel this shot and have my previous, wonderful doctor do a different shot. He didn’t have the decency to call me himself; gutless and condescending.

I have never experienced such an uninterested, condescending interaction with any professional. It was obvious that he was only meeting to support a colleague and had come to conclusions before the consult had even begun.

Joseph, D.Terry here. I was with you from South Ogden to the U of U in Salt Lake City, Utah. Can I just say that you are so missed here in Utah. The laws are terrible and the new doctors are idiots. Any chance you want to fly back once a month for one ?...lol. After you left I was given a new doctor. He wears a bow tie and has only touched me once and that was to shake my hand after my 11th. visit. I miss your one on one chats and exams. You make people feel like they are someone vs. being just a number. To those who are reading this, I would recommend Dr. Cunniff to anyone who is in need of recovery and support. He will treat you right. You are a great Doctor, you're missed by a lot of patients. I wonder what air fare is to come see you ? Keep up the great work, Dru.

Exceptional in helping me with PAIN from my back and arthritis.

I cannot recommend this doctor highly enough. I've dealt with a bad back injury for years, had seen multiple other people, and thought I was going to have to have surgery, pain or just deal with it. My work ergonomics had rendered me having to take leave from work and in a lot of pain. Not only was Dr. Cunniff very pleasant to work with, he was highly skilled in assessing what had been missed by previous physicians, and any person that can put needles in between my vertebrae with that much skill is amazing. Through treatments and recommended exercises and therapy, I experienced a great decrease in pain and increase in mobility. He provided efficient, patient and helpful support through paperwork and multiple appointments. I went from being unable to walk properly or put my shoes on to a full recovery, and I'm back to hiking, weightlifting, everything. I'm eternally grateful.
