Dr. Joseph M Curley, DDS

I highly recommend Dr. Curley. After going to the same Dentist my whole adult life, I relocated & had to find a new Dentist. I was understandably nervous & unfortunately scheduled with the wrong type of practice first who used every upsell imaginable sending me away with 4 estimates of close to $10K. It took me another year until I decided to try another Dentist in the area instead of traveling back to my hometown Dentist. This time, I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Curley. I didn't tell him about what the competing Dentist had done. I just let him do what he does. While he addressed each issue, he assured me that none of them were of concern & I didn't need any additional work. He personally took the time to address each of my concerns & questions. I didn't feel rushed at all. There was no cheap upsell; just pure professionalism you expect from a real Doctor. Also, the staff is awesome, knowledgeable & kind. It was an excellent experience.

Experienced numerous problems with recent visit. Office seems disorganized and confused. Somewhat arrogant as well. Dr. Curley didn't seem interested in what I had to say concerning medical history. Will be looking for a new Dentist.

Someone must get paid to either write positive reviews or delete the negative ones because my experience was terrible! Dr. Curley is condescending and has an air or superiority. The rest of the staff were friendly but he was downright rude. Aside from dealing with his God complex, I had to return several times for a single procedure, once because he forgot to do something and twice because the tooth broke. I won't be going back.

While the staff in general were friendly and accommodating, I found Dr. Curley to be condescending and dismissive. My dental procedure required several visits to complete and he was the same at each, rude and curt. I was having cosmetic work done and even though I explained exactly what I wanted, he ignored me and did what he wanted. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with the outcome. Not only does it look bad, but my bite is off and it has caused one of my teeth to break. When I told him this at my next visit he got annoyed and didn't say another word for the duration. He just got up and left the room when he was done. A week or so later I got a letter from him saying that he didn't want me as a patient anymore. I have no intention to go back to him, nor would I recommend him to anyone I know. In my opinion, he Is unprofessional and his work is subpar. It was my WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE, and I'm a baby boomer. I've been around the block a time or two.

Great guy in all of the above areas! Accomodating staff who seem to all work well together. Billing department needs a little work, however.

I had a very bad experience at this office. There are no doors to the rooms and no privacy. I could here the dentist telling an elderly lady she was going to lose all her teeth and needed to think about alternatives. I had a situation and needed to be seen the day after getting work done on my teeth. A week or so after that I received a call saying Dr. Curley no longer wanted me as a patient. During interaction with him he rushed in and out of my appointments making me feel like less than him.

The dentist has a poor bedside manner, not seeing his patients as real people, but just a means to more billing. My entire family had been going to this practice for years and I watched it decline slowly every year. We will NOT be going back. Long wait times. The dentist had no understanding of my teenage daughter with Asperger's. Just a lack of knowledge about dental patients with special needs. Poor workmanship, as the same (permanent) dental work had to be redone repeatedly, weeks apart. When I brought to his attention that this was causing me to lose time at work, the dentist yelled at me so loudly that I'm sure they heard it in the waiting room.
