Over 5 years had 3 root canals with him, 1 of the 3 has had no problems after 5 yrs; 2nd Root canal failed after 1 year, had to be re-treated at twice the cost because of his incompetence. (this incompetence comes from not agreeing with the findings of 2 other dentists that stated a 4th root existed at an upper molar). The 3rd root canal has also failed because of the 4 roots, 1 of 4 roots was overfilled and 2 of 4 roots was underfilled. This imbalance has caused (9 out of 10 pain) and unusual swelling in the upper region of the mouth; It also has to be re-treated in the near future. So to sum up 2 of 3 root canals have failed and cost more money to repair, and more long term pain. I have sent calls to his office and got no response. He uses old technology, and has not kept up with ongoing new found dental techniques. He is aging. He has a wonderful personality, but it's just a shame that these things happen. Lastly, to this day he still does not believe that upper molars… can have 4 roots.

Unfortunately I have terrible teeth and terrible insurance. Needed a root canal, I had a really bad experience prior. I read reviews about Dr. Defilippo and decided to give him a whirl. He was great! Thorough and made a potential bad experience, tolerable and virtually painless! I highly recommend him. Kudos to Dr. Defilippo and his staff Marie.

I have been horrified in going to the dentist for a very long time. When I decided to go, I was told I need to complete two root canals. I was VERY scared but I had to go because I was in a horrible pain where the painkillers didnâ??t do their job anymore. This doctor is the best that anyone with my level of fear can ask for. Caring, funny and very understanding. Because of this great experience, I have decided to frequent the dentist every six month to make sure my teeth are in an excellent conditions. I cannot find the right words to thank this wonderful person.

i did have to wait when i first walked in the office i was asked to have a seat and the front desk was on her cell phone sending text messages i guess then another lady came out and helped me she was very very nice.

I am someone who is mortified of needles. He administered the best novocaine shot I have ever had. Extremely gentle and caring. I was pain-free after my first appointment and the second/final visit was just as pleasant.

I would highly recommend this dr to anyone who wants a conservative opinion. It seems like every dr around the corner wants to pull teeth and place expensive implants. Dr Deflippo took his time and gave me excellent information so I could make an informed decision for my own dental plan. Fantastic!

I never got to see the Dr. His assistant told me that it would be $90.00 just for the evaluation that would not be applied to the total bill. I did not want to be taken for a sleigh ride and went elsewhere where there the evaluation was free.
