He was by far the best surgeon for scoliosis in Lansing but he tends to blame the patient or parents for mistakes his xray people make or if the patient doesn't wear the back apparatus longer than he prescribes as a minimum. Young kids are only going to wear the back brace minimum lets face it and it only helps a small amount of kids dependent on where they are in their life (puberty, etc). So you get put in this torture device for 2 years for nothing! He was nicer to us after my child had surgery but before that we could not stand him. So if you can get by the bad bedside manner, he is an amazing surgeon.

I never got to see the Dr., we wish we would have because we have heard great things...the experience of the staff at the desk was plain old awful :( I even called the office manager twice to talk about my concerns, but never received a call back. I don't think the Dr. even knew we were unhappy or there for that matter.
