Dr. Joseph Digiovanni, MD

I would give no stars if possible....very rushed, doesn't explain things at all. His patient care is lacking in every aspect. as a surgeon, maybe ok but he needs to take time to talk to patients and explain risks, treatment plan, etc...did none of the above. Shameful and poor care.

He excels in his field.

Dr. DiGiovanni has been my go-to orthopedic specialist for over ten years now. He has performed my rotator cuff surgery, as well as, two different finger surgeries. I currently saw him recently as one of the conditions I deal with has returned in my finger joint. His expertise in hands and limbs is why I continue to see him. He is professional always! He is kind always! I recommend him if you are having hand and limb problems.

Not only is Dr. Joseph DiGiovanni an excellent doctor & surgeon but also a kind and compassionate individual. He listens to you and your concerns. I have been going to Danbury Orthopedics for years due to a chronic ailment, and the entire staff is no less then helpful and accommodating including PA Patrick, as with Dr “D”, Patrick listens to your concerns without judgement, he is knowledgeable, kind and very respectful,. I recommend this practice without reservation.

Hello, I had my carpal tunnel surgery done by Dr. Digiovanni a few years back. I just want to say that he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The surgery went very well, and the pain was gone. No complications. I have been pain-free since then. I was worried about having the surgery but he told me how it was going to go and he was true to his word. I recommend him or at least talk to him and get his opinion. No more walking around holding my arm or sleeping with it hanging off the bed. Thanks

Professional but not perfunctory; courteous but not suppurating. Dr. DiGiovanni was straightforward yet compassionate.

I have been using Dr. Digi for several years for osteoarthritis, trauma surgery etc. While my outcomes have included several surgeries, I have never felt pressured to go under the knife. Dr Digi readily encourages options for treatment, starting with the most conservative. He also welcomed second opinions, never seemed threatened by the patient process as I tried to make a decision. He has always been available to take a call, answer a question, fit me in as needed. Attentive, kind, with a great sense of humor, his DX have been spot on, thorough. I continue to return to him for all of these reasons. There's a reason he's a Top Doc!

Dr DiGiovanni is the best . He cares about his patients and is always right on the money with his diagnoses . He is always available to talk to at any given moment which is rare in this modern day of commercialized medicine. I would highly recommend him to everyone.
