I am a healthy 40yr. old male with no prior medical conditions or health issues. Visited Urgent Care Lagrange for suspected Lyme disease. Symptoms were week long headache, onset of bells palsy and finding a tick embedded in my hairy scalp several days after feeling tenderness in the spot. Dr. Was condesending, acted like he knew everything about Lyme disease yet at the same time like he doesn't live in dutchess county and has never dealt with it before. Refused to acknowledge that lyme can require treatment beyond 14 days of antibiotics and refused to prescribe even a 21 day course. He kept saying it would create "antibiotic resistant superbugs" I understand this is a threat of overprescribing antibiotics, but when dealing with Lyme you take it seriously. Anyone who denies this has never had it, never known someone who has wrestled with it and doesn't care about the long term health of the patient. Even after the lyme test came back positive he still refused to prescribe more… than 14 days of antibiotics. Horrible lyme protocol for Health Quest to be embracing. I guarantee if "Dr. Disalvo" or any of his family were diagnosed with lyme he would prescribe a full 21 or 28 day course. Avoid for lyme or for a doctor that cares about peoples wellness.

Worst MD I have ever encountered. Should not even be practicing. If you don't like your job, then find something else. Don't take your dislike of "whatever" is going on on your life out on your patients. You lack tact, personality and empathy.You air of superiority belongs somewhere else; not being degrading towards your patients.

went to the ER with a broken arm. After a 3 hour wait , not the Dr's Fault , my arm was reset. What is UNEXCEPTABLE is I was given no pain medication. I was sent home with no pain medication..... The next 24 hours were horrific for me. I was back in an ER the next day. Went to vassar this time and was treated properly for the pain.
