I am writing this review in hopes that someone reads it and takes it into consideration when choosing an oncologist . My mother was disgnosed with a stage 4 cancer ... As you can imagine , the diagnosis was devastating. We decided to go with Hershey for intial diagnosis and tumor removal!! (Big mistake) . We knew , her diagnosis was uncurable and terminal . When we met with this doctor for the first time to discuss tx options he told my mom she would die within 6-8'months ( we have since worked with amazing docs who state they would never give a person a timeframe as no one knows how the tumor will respond ) he gave her 8 months and discouraged her from going on a cruise etc !! We went to upenn ( highly recommend ) and this brilliant doctor presented it to us In a totally different manner . They had access to a clinical trial that got us 1.5 years. unfortunately , my mothers spirt died during that frist meeting with this doctor!! In addition he continued to discuss my mother's… case with a relative without any release being signed . Please reconsider using this doctor we knew all along she would die and accepted her diagnosis. research your options.

Has been nothing but caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable over the last 2 1/2 years. Awesome support staff also. Would highly recommend him to anybody!

Very poor bedside manor. no respect. very easily misdiagnoses a patient then takes his time with getting to the patient when they need something. Have spent many days sitting in a room for over an hour waiting for the doctor to come in.
