Dr. Joseph John Dusek, MD

Meet Dr. Joseph Dusek
Dr. Joseph J. Dusek was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a BA with honors in zoology. He then attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree finishing first in his class. Following dental school Dr. Dusek moved to New Orleans and completed his residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at LSU-Charity Hospital system. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology.
His practice is limited to oral and maxillofacial surgery with a special interest in bone grafting, implant placement and routine oral surgery. He continues to keep abreast of new developments by attending continuing education courses.
Dr. Dusek is past president of the Houston Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Ninth District Dental Society. He is a member of the American Dental …Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and numerous other specialty organizations.
