Wouldn’t recommend this pill pusher. Before you know it, you’ll be on multiple medications. Wants to take care of the easy, less complex patients who are willing to accept and take one bottle of pills after another after another.

Doesn't speak with parents when there is a child/teen that he has never met before and the parents have concerns about the patient.

Horrible doctor not sure how he's even a doctor would not recommend him to no one! Think before you take your child to this place its like a prison and the staff is just as bad as Dr.Farris he's a joke!

This doctor asked my child why she hadn't self harmed yet while at the hospital. Her response was that there was nothing there that she could use. SO HE proceeded to tell her how other patients have self harmed while in the hospital!!! When she asked him to not give her ideas he said 'Well I can't hold your had forever' ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? HORRIBLE!!!

So a few days ago this child assaulted another kid, this week the child is climbing the walls yelling and screaming and crying, but they are going to schedule the kid to be released soon? MD would rather kids be placed in foster care than help parents with severe issues with their children. Plays games with the court system. Needs huge improvement in dealing with children with mental problems that have parents that care. Says kids are stable when they are not. Doesn't care when other professionals see the lack of responsibility as a MD. Holds no accountability. Belmont is a Monopoly. with no place else to turn to for help, they can do whatever they want. Contacting N.A.M.I. the state board, and anyone else that will listen.

i have struggled with my sons behavior for 7 years never getting much relief... tried counseling for years , family doctor just treated him for adhd and it has been a total nightmare... my son liked dr. ferris and felt very comfortable which was a relief cause he doesnt like anybody. it was a good visit and i left feeling very hopeful we will see a change and i really liked dr dr ferris as well.....

on his report he said things about the family history that was not accurate that he wrote about my child. he never even asked any of those questions when I asked how he received thios information he said the pedatrician provided it to him but when I referred back to the pedeatrician he said he never forwarded any information he said that was between us and the doctor and Dr. Ferris never asked any questions. seems like what ever he felt like writing he just did it to write anything. he seems to be a hyper guy that smiles at kids but does not handle his job as a doctor profeesionally at all. NEVER returns calls.
