I wish I could find him but he has seemingly disappeared. The implant he gave me never fused and it has food stuck all the time.

Started with Dental Implant center in 2005, had a couple fail due to previous periodontal bone implant. Joe put in 12 Mini studs and today 8/23 I still have 10 solid implants. I can't find but one lawsuit on record. My problem is I need new dentures. Guess I need to do some research.

Horrible, stay far away. My wife and I gave them $24,000 for extractions and full implants and they said if anything goes wrong come back any time and they will fix them. 2 Implants have fallen out and they have been closed for weeks, first because they have to hire a new doctor, then because they are remodeling the floor. They care nothing about their patients.

Dr. Joe Gillespie has so many lawsuits (over 30) for failed implants that he is no longer insurable. He uses non-FDA approved mini implants for teeth that are not designed for them. These mini implants are designed for rare circumstances where there's almost no bone. These implants are weak, not repairable and are manufactured by Sendax Mini Dental Implants, which is company seemingly only used by one dentist. Sendax doesn't even have a phone number or address. Joe however uses them for almost everyone. Please ask local dentists and oral surgeons in Mt. Pleasant and Charleston about him. Contact AAID, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry for a real implant dentist. If you must use him, ask for proof of malpractice insurance, and realize you have no recourse to sue if he messes up, which is a high likelihood. Research online and look up the the Charleston County Courthouse for a list of lawsuits. He pretends to be on the leading edge with mini implants and does… sponsored fake news programs. Joe is a hack and should be stripped of his license. I hope you read this before letting him work on your mouth. I urge you to substantiate my warnings. A failed implant can have devastating effects on your health.
