Many western trained physicians know little about parasitic infestation. I believed I had a parasite from raw fish . I'm not a hypochondriac and rarely go to the doctors. Although, I can feel movement throughout my body and have passed visible parasites and eggs in my stool for 3 weeks, my body is breaking out in burning rashes where the movement is felt, Dr Joseph Gross would not take my concerns seriously because my test results came back negative. Blood and stool tests for parasites are grossly inaccurate, go research it, this is a well known fact in the medical community. It is very common to have a parasite yet test negative, there are thousands of parasites and they are only testing for a handful. He waited weeks to respond with my test results through snail mail, very impersonal. His bedside manners are atrocious and he and his staff treated my condition as a joke. The receptionist, Terry is extremely condescending. The only relief and results I received were through… companies from which I bought parasitic cleanses from. They understood the life cycle and treatment of a broad spectrum of parasites. The burning rashes are die off symptoms. You'd think that an infectious disease doctor would know that. These doctors are a joke, if you have a parasite infestation, the last thing you want to do is wait weeks, because they are prolific breeders. Parasites who are outside of the intestinal wall can cause, cardiac arrest, seizures, liver damage, and many other life threatening disorders. The fact that western trained doctors do not take this seriously is highly unsettling.

Amazing staff

I needed to have my travel vaccines done on short notice, and I was given an appointment and excellent service by Dr. Joseph Gross and his team. The office I visited (Haverhill) is very clean. Nurse Jen took me right in and prepared my paperwork, shots, and vitals. Meanwhile, Dr. Gross researched the necessary vaccines. He clearly explained the benefits of each before Nurse Jen deftly administered them. I was also given tips on preventing illness abroad. They took care of my referral and insurance and had contacted my former PCP for my records. My prescription was waiting for me after work. This is a tight ship and I highly recommend it.

This doctor believes that you only can have lyme disease if you can show him evidence of a bite. What if you were bitten years ago, or never saw a bite, and had no antibiotics? He was rude, didn't want to hear my symptoms, and honestly, he has "dead" eyes. No humanity in there. I would give no stars, but at least one is required.

My doctor refered me to him. It was a terrible experiance. He said "you don't have lyme tell your doctor to stop the antibotics and fix the real problem" I told my doctor and they said that I was not the first person to say I will never go back to that guy! I have had more test and are confirmed to have Lyme!
