My appointment took over 2 hours mostly sitting around listening to Doctor berate his staff. Very unprofessional behavior. Would not recommend.

Dr. Hegleh is the worst doctor I have ever dealt with. He's unrelentingly cruel to his staff and patients alike! If you look up unprofessional in the dictionary, there is just a picture of him. He openly discussed other patients private information in front of myself and other patients. He is a consistent HIPPA violator and extremely abusive to the women that work for him. He has performed in office procedures without proper sterilization equipment. His machines are out of date and he does not keep electronic medical records! I will not be back to see him until the day I die.

I sent my daughter to this guy thinking he could help her with her prescription glasses. She waited 2 hours in the waiting room listening to him belittle his staff. When she was finally taken in the exam room he was extremely rude and arrogant to her also. It was so bad that she ended up leaving and told the staff that she would not be returning. Stay away from this guy!

Dr Hegleh is very knowledgeable and experienced in eye care. I had an emergency situation with my left retina - and was referred to him from the emergency room doctor at the hospital. He took me in right away and did a thourough exam of both my eyes, and determined that my retinas were not detaching, but were adjusting. I felt confident in his expertise and am no longer worried about my vision.

He's an expert in his field. He really cares about his patients, and wants to help you in the least invasasive way possible. I'm lucky to have finally found him.

Short with his staff? Yep. Short with the patient? Yep. Best ophthalmologist I've seen? (and I've seen a lot due to chronic eye problems I won't list here...) Yep. I will be loyal to him, as he fixed a botched cataract surgery done buy a really nice guy who turned out to be incompetent. I will overlook what can be a rather brusque manner. Ask yourself what you value more: your eyesight, or a few minutes of dealing with a man with a big ego? There's a reason it can be tough to get an appointment with this man, especially during the snowbird season; he's good.

Sorry but this Doctor is rude to office staff which is embarrassing to the client. He needs to improve his people skills

I know this doctor for eight years. He is demanding but for the benefit of his patients. very professional and quick. I would strongly recommend him.

This doctor has a large ego and as far as bedside manner , he has none. He will make one feel like a child and reprimand you for not following his directions. My one and only exam took almost 5 hours because he was training a new staff member. There was supposed to be follow-up contact for surgery. That never happened. I tried to find out why and the staff never contacted me back. I called on a Fri. and was told that ther were a lot of emergencies. If the DR. operates on Thurs. and he has alot of emergencies; what does that say about his operations. The last thing I requested was a copy of my file so that I could take it to a doctor that runs his office as in a more professional manner. Of course I never received a call back or my files.

Very sharp down to point, helpful staff and excellent surgery !! His charges are reasonable and he is well respected at the surgery center.
