Dr. Herman saved me from a lifetime of misery and psychological damage I would have never recovered from. His thought leadership on his research spared me from a permanent colostomy, and his genuine interest in my well being and willingness to be there when I needed him to answer a question or put up with my passive-aggressive state of mind was not something I thought I would ever see from a physician. I consider him a friend now, one who remembers me at my worst and is genuinely excited to see me as far from that day as possible.

Dr. Herman was incredibly warm and caring every single time my father had a consult. He is one of the best in gastrointestinal radiation, and yet has time to answer all your questions and emails as quick as a anxious patient would expect. We would definitely recommend him, we couldn't be more satisfied!
