Dr. Joseph E Hopkins, OD

I recently had a severe eye injury that included over one hundred tiny fiberglass needles injecting into my eye. It was extremely painful and left me temporarily blind. I had been a regular patient of Dr. Hopkins for a few years and had always been happy with the care I received. But this incident was far more than an eye exam. Dr Hopkins immediately took me in and painstakingly remove every fiberglass needle one by one. It was quite time consuming, but Dr. Hopkins was very kind and talked to me through the entire procedure. His staff was also very caring and truly concerned for my welfare. Dr. Hopkins was never rushed and I had immediate relief. He had even told me to contact him after hours if I had any further pain or symptoms. I am quite certain I would have lost an eye if Dr. Hopkins had not treated me. In this day and time where physician bedside manner is questionable or non-existent, Dr. Hopkins exceeded my expectations and I recommend him highly for any eye care needs.
