Dr Joseph Hormes

I booked a New Patient appt almost 3 months ahead. I was told the office called 1 Business Day before my appt saying they cancelled it and scheduled me for a random day next month(without checking with me). I didn't get the voicemail and showed up for my Monday appt, only to be told that it was cancelled and there was no doctor available to see me, even though I was already at the office. The waiting room was completely empty as well. Horrible 1st impression for new patients; never going back!

Staff was far less than pleasant, if not down right rude. Doctor was quick to make assumptions regarding care without asking questions or interpreting observations. They made a mistake when calling in prescription. For 2 days, all calls to his office to have prescription corrected were taken by ANSWERING SERVICE. Apparently office staff does not take calls. Don't know where messages fell through the cracks but was unable to start meds for 2 days. Worst experience I've ever had with medical professional and their staff. Wouldn't let them care for a dog.

Hateful staff rushes you and will not let you talk.

dr hormes no longer cares about his patients. Glad I found one who does. With his notes he couldn't rember what was discussed. Asked for my records. Took 3 months! The staff is horriable. Even the notes were wrong, glad I had my own notes from visits. Sad when a dr smirks when discussing stopping meds.

To begin with, this Dr Has a very rude staff. Then when you get to see him, he does not answer questions and does not listen at all. All he could keep saying was "yes, I remember from the hospital", as he was cutting me off. I will never go back and would not recommend him to anyone else.

I am fine with Dr Hormes but his staff is one of the worst i've ever experienced. They don't seem to like one another and definitely don't go beyond what is required to make a person feel comfortable. They are rude on the phone and in person. They take entirely too long to return calls and you NEVER can call the doctor.
