Read my review on Google.. He and his staff are predators and should have been shut down when he was run out of Charlotte NC..

I was one of Dr Jemseks patient in Charloote NC then in Huntersville he waas my Dr for 25 yrs i have lupus i love him he is the best we moved to the coast in 2005 i traveled back to Charlotte for a while i did not want to leave Charlotte i had no choice he is the best

Dr. J is one of the most knowledge physicians in the Lyme community! He is kind and generous with his time . He literally saved my life! Too bad N Carolina didn’t care enough to believe in him!

Dr Jemsek is by far the kindest most thorough doctor I have seen in all my 65 years. He worked with me when no one else would address my CFIDS. I will always be indebted to him and his fine staff.

Where others quit, Dr Jemsek does not.

I noticed someone stated he could not practice in NC. Let me tell you one thing that is the loss for the state of NC !!!!. If I recall correctly it was due to how he may treat disease. Insurance companies did not approve. Well apparently his methods work!!!!!! In todays world there are so many protocols in healthcare that need to be protocoled right out the back door. Treat the problem to begin with!!!!! Dr Jemsek is absolutely no doubt one of the best Drs ever. I had MRSA 2006, It was all over my face after several doctors and emergency rooms I finally made it to him, This doctor took excellent care of me and put me on the right meds. I remained on these meds after my face cleared for several months . I have since, knock on wood have had no issues with MRSA. I am forever grateful to Dr, Jemsek. Recently my dad has beeen sick with a bacteria in the blood the Infectious Disease Drs here cant seem to find the source oh how I wish Dr. Jemsek were still here because that is where I… would take my dad.

Dr J is a brilliant Dr., Others commented negative experience with the staff. I thought they were nice and knowledge and handled my in office Lyme rages like a pro (I guess they are actually professionals) I've been sick for 15 years. It has stolen half of my life. After MANY misdiagnoses my blood work showed I was positive in 2012. I was on IV for a year. I had a central line on my chest, not a pic line, which can be a lot more discreet than purple and neon green tubes hanging from my chest. I made GREAT progress the first year in IV, they pulled the line and I went down fast. I do safety labs every other week but never discuss the results of any lab work or test they have me do. They put a second line in about two years ago. I'm hoping I can have this tube taken out of my heart! I'm not getting better, actually getting worse. I've cycled through all of their antibiotics, ruining every one of my organs. We have kind of hit a wall with treatment but they are not suggesting anything… else that could help. $500 a month for my infusion nurse, who was great, I just feel that after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars and I'm not better. Where do we go from here?

Others may give up or chose not to treat...not Dr. Jemsek. Regardless of how difficult the case, he continues to try to help which is unheard of in the medical profession.

We saw this Dr's staff for lyme disease. Patients are not "allowed" to meet with Dr Jemsek until their 3rd visit. Although he was in the office, he did not take the time to come in to introduce himself to us. I needed multiple questions answered regarding medications and dosages for my children, and the staff does not adhere to their 48 hour return phone call response time. My husband and I left approximately 8 messages before we received a return phone call over a 2 week period. Completely unprofessional. The staff has very generic responses for questions, and has assigned the same protocol to the other clients I have connected with. The charges for the office are dramatically higher than other LLMD's, yet their service was sub par. They nickel and dime for forms, calls and consults, but when it comes to areas that do not generate them revenue such as returning phone calls, having empathy, or professionalism, or answering questions, the staff has a lackadaisical, immature- full of… excuses, unprofessional demeanor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! SAVE YOUR MONEY! Complete waste of time, money and effort.
