Dr. Joseph Mani Korah, MD

You'd figure that a doctor would know that patients in the ER aren't at their best. That their loved ones might be a bit worried and confused. That a little patience is in order with an elderly lady concerned about her sick husband. Not Joseph Korah. He lacks the basic civility & social intelligence most people develop in high school. During a consultation with my parents, my mother attempted to ask about insurance coverage. Korah interrupted her, completely misinterpreted her question, and accused her of asking him to falsify a diagnosis. Twice! It was such a bizarre non-sequitur, it took a moment to compute. When she tried to clarify her intent and de-escalate the situation, she used a harmless term of endearment. Korah's response? "I'm not your sweetheart. I'm the Doctor". Absolutely classless. With such abysmal interpersonal communication skills, deficient empathy, defensiveness, and propensity to jump to (incorrect) conclusions.... you have to… wonder what kind of medical care he provides.
