Dr. Joseph Zalmon Krause, MD

Insensitive with absolutely no bedside manner. Was trying to speak with him regarding my dad in the hospital and he just walked away while I was talking. My dad passed 9 years ago and I still can't forget how he treated my mom (caregiver) and me.

Worse doctor ever

Would not recommend this doctor. I am the caregiver of my wife who suffered a stroke and heart attack...would not let me into the exam room to answer vital questions..wanted her to put on a gown when she cannot do it by herself..doctor got brash w/me the caregiver about my wife not wanting to put a gown on etc. Told him he is the wrong doctor for us and left. Never had a doctor treat me like this ...(75 yrs old)..been to many doctors in my life..

Krause is cruel, insensitive, nasty, lacking bedside manner, impatient, rude, non compassionate and out of touch. I truly regret we did not protect my mother from this individual sooner, eventually whisking her up north to where my husband, a physician himself, was able to secure trustworthy and caring doctors for her. I urge anyone who has a friend or loved one under his care to be more attentive. Stay as far away from Joseph Krause as you can. He should not be practicing medicine, especially on the elderly and vulnerable.

My husband had an initial exam appt.and we did have to wait longer than we anticipated. However, once inside the examination room it became apparent why the extended wait. Dr. Krause did perhaps the most thorough examination my husband has had in years....and he obviously does this with all of his new patients. Dr. Krause is not a doctor to seek out if all you want is a 5 min. cursory exam. Dr. Krause is extremely personable....what a pleasure to meet a doctor whose personality matches his level of competence as a physician. Normally, in South Florida, you get one or the other, rarely both qualities in the same doctor!! Dr. Krause's staff is equally pleasant and easy to work with. His nurse is one of those rare individuals who can draw blood out of your arm without you even know what hit you!
