Dr. Joseph Anthony Lahorra

Dr. Lahorra removed my left lung (squamous non small cell cancer) Nov. 28 2014. The results of my CT Scan from Monday Oct 14, 2019 is clear. I am now considered Five years Cancer Free. Thank you Dr. Joe. Your friend Garon Petty.

Dr. Lahorra was my surgeon for double cardiac bypass. He was exceptional with tremendous bedside manner as well as skill. He saved my life!!

In the operating room, Dr Lahorra had each member of the team introduce themselves and say their role to me. He then went back to each, giving detailed instructions. The last thing I remember thinking is "this is a confidence builder." It certainly was!

Dr. Lahorra is the most efficient, informative and comfortable doctor, especially in this type of emergency that he deals with. He handles everyone like all will be well and with his sincere and detailed information he makes you feel postive about the need for whatever has to be done in surgery. He takes his time listening to our questions and explaning. I have a cousin who has some brain injury from many years ago and recently had a mild heart attack. He had a heart catherization and then Dr. Lahorra was assigned to go ahead with a triple bypass. There was no hesitation on what needed to get done and his positive feelings made me feel that my cousin would come thru this and he did. Dr. Lahorra's staff and Parma's heart center were much like him..efficient, caring, informative and took care of all of us. It's like the bible says about the "Golden Rule"...do unto others as you would want them to do for you. My cousin is doing extremely well now and is healing in many ways.
