The staff keeps billing me and I have insurance ! I am fully covered! the worst of the worst !

Ive been going to Dr. Lanese for several years now. Although there has been a change of staff over time the staff has always been polite and helpful. Dr. Lanese is very caring and spends quality time with you. You never feel rushed or feel like "cattle" like you do with other offices.. I did have to wait longer than the norm my last visit..but this was due to short front office staff that particular day and hopefully this was an isolated situation. Dr Lanese's "PA; Steve" is also great. he is very knowledgeable and also takes his time going over your concerns. I have recently gotten my husband to change his doctor over to Dr Laneses office and he is so glad he did.

If you are seeking a primary care physician you'll never actually see.....or desire an EXTREMELY rude office staff that continually overbooks appointments resulting in multi-hour waits in office....a staff self-endowed with inherent indignation that lecture hurting patients and hang up rudely.....a staff that ILLEGALLY tells patients to seek other doctor care because they refuse to book appointment (which is actually ILLEGAL, IMMORAL, and UNCONSCIONABLE----then you will love Dr Joseph Lanese office and obnoxious staff! After hours long wait in an overbooked waiting room with several patients STANDING due to all seats taken, a woman next to me remarked heatedly that she had been waiting for almost 2 hours to se Lanese. Since she was there hour before me, I approached appointment window (which has a sign "DO NOT TAP ON GLASS WINDOW....AFTER YOU REGISTER WE WILL COME GET YOU") only to be finally told it would be much longer wait. I stated this office had one chance to quickly rebook my… appointment ---DUE TO LANESE BEING ASSIGNED AS MY PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN through Care Plus insurance....which means that "ALL MY CARE RUNS THROUGH HIS OFFICE!" SCARY----I need better care. Since I have tests needing diagnosed....and several referrals needed set up, I called back; only to be told curtly to seek a different doctor since the girl answering the phone notified me she would not book any appointments with Dr Lanese before hanging up on me! Wow! The inmates running the asylum! I wonder if Dr Lanese enables these office staff females to arbitrarily decide "which patients to care for....and which to dump?" Shame on Dr Lanese for failing to train people working "under his name" and reputation. Patient's health needs to be treated with utmost respect----exactly opposite than the way I was treated. After lodging formal complaints with Care Plus and Medicare....I found a different PCP.....a doctor that actually follows through on "Hypocritical Oath" be actually caring about patients. If I could rate this office LOWER THAN ONE STAR....I would.

Dr. Lanese is a good doctor when you can deal directly with him. My rating and not returning to his office is due to his assistance in the front office. They are rude, get snippy, and don't review your paperwork before giving you an answer and directing you. I have been trying to get a prescription filled for about 2 weeks now. The first week it was never sent to the pharmacy, the second week it's the pharmacy fault, now i'm frustrated about the run around and now i'm the rude one. Just make sure you know what your talking about and get the job done instead of pointing fingers. His front in workers don't own up to mistakes and everyone just supposed to be patient! No one wants to deal with a doctor's office that don't seem to know what they are doing. The front end workers make it a bad experience! I suggest getting someone that's going to take their time and make sure things are right and own up to mistakes. Honesty is the best way to go! There's no excuses where i work!

Dr are good but the ladies that work their are horrible I waited a week for pain meds cause she didn’t do the job right and didn’t give dr message I’m looking for another dr after many years their

I have been a patient of Dr Lanes for over 10 years. You’ll notice during your office visits that he spends time listening to what you say, and what you don’t say. He has a calming nature, and his staff is very efficient and professional. I’ve recommended Dr Lanese to family and friends, he has taken away my fears of doctor visits.

Yesterday I went for my annual check up and just had to write this. While waiting in the waiting room, there was a woman who was with her daughter and she was 91 and she had the entire room laughing so hard we were crying with tears of laughter. I can only say that i want to my follow up to be after her next time----------it was like being at a comedy show. I had my appointment and I had some issues to discuss and once again Dr. Lanese eased my mind and after 20 years with him, I felt more at ease than medical issues I thought I had. He is not only my Doctor, he is a dear friend and his office staff is the best and always a smile and happy to see you. I cannot imagine going to any other Doctor nor my husband=-------------he is truly our friend and the best Doctor we have ever had. I have experienced many ups and downs over the years with health--but I always know I am good hands and happy to say in excellent health and always rely on him. I have stated before that 99% of… Doctor's these days get you in get you out and want to just give you a script or rush you out the door. Dr. Lanese is one of a kind Doctor and takes the time with you to truly treat you as you are the only person.

Dr. Lanese is extremely caring and shows great concern for his patients.
