HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM; BLUE COLLAR TREATMENT TO THIS PHYSICIAN ‘S DAUGHTER. I EXPECT NOTHING BUT THE BEST AND WILL SETTLE FOR NOTHING LESS. QUITE HAPPY TO MOVE ON, NO DOUBT. REALLY LET ME DOWN IN TIME OF EMERGENCY. SHOCKING TO ME !

I have been a patient of Dr. Joe's for almost 20 years. He is kind and compassionate. He believes in finding the root of the problem versus just temporarily relieving it with medicine. He still has lots of simple solutions that many doctors would never think of when treating your complaint. I have always recommended him as a wonderful physician and will continue to do so.

I am never disappointed with the service and the caring from any of the staff at Hawthorne Medical Group. Of course, I am hooked on DR. Joe...been my favorite from the start!

Very rude Doctor. Dr Joe Lozito took my blood pressure and bruised my arm. Dr Joe was very rough in putting the blood pressure sleeve on my arm that when I went home I had a big bruise on my arm. He can also be verbally abusive. Dr Joe does a lot of referrals as it seem to me he doesn't know much how to treat some illness. I am never going to him again and will found a Dr who has bedside manner and not rude

My son was scheduled to see Dr. Joe, however his office substituted an associate Dr He demanded my son come back monthly for his ADHD meds for no reason except fee churninng. We then find out the Doctor is an OBGYN who they scheduled for my 22 year old son!!!!!!!! In what alternate reality is this acceptable?

Misdiagnosed and sent to ER without insurance or income

Dr.Joe is horrible. Expressed concerns about depression symptoms and he said it wasn't his problem.

You get to wait over an hour to see the doctor. Was told by office staff that they double book his appts. He is very money hungry. He staff not very nice at all. They seem to have attitudes. I'm very unhappy and I have found another doctor.

I was a patient of Dr. Lozito for a long time. He is a good man. He listens to you, makes you feel like he cares and has provided excellent treatment. Unfortunately, the wait times have gotten too long at the office, the staff is rude and puts you on hold for 20 minutes when you call to ask a question -- and now he has gotten into the practice of making you come in (and making you wait an hour in the waiting room) to go over basic test results that he used to send in the mail, even if everything is normal. I presume this is to milk the patients (and the insurance companies) of the extra co-pay/fee, and it is just awful. I am very disappointed after going to this practice for nearly 20 years, but I have switched providers. I am dreading the $1/page I will have to pay if I ever need any of my medical records copied. That costs money too.

No one could figure out why I was so tired, putting on weight that I couldn't lose and cold all the time. Dr. Lozito listened to me - really listened to me - and took a common sense approach to my problem. He started with a complete lab work up which revealed a thyroid problem! Medication corrected it and his staff at his secondary office The Institute for Medical weight Loss and Nutrition helped me with a lifestyle change and diet that helped my get my weight under control. I feel younger than I am - have all this energy - and owe it all to him. He once said, "If you let a patient talk long enough and you really listen to them, they will tell you what is wrong with them". He listened and fixed me!
