Dr. Joseph Marc Majure, MD

My 7 children have been seeing Dr. Major since Apri 1997. He is the best doctor in the world. With Dr. Browning coming in second. All 7 of my children have asthama. Dr. Major is so caring, knowledgeable and professional. He took the stress away of caring for asthamatic children. Pam Steele, Barbara McLurkin are top notch PA's. I just love the whole pulminary staff. Bring Dr. Major back to Duke. "Please"

Dr. Majure, is an absolutely wonderful pediatric pulmonologist. He has the most wonderful and personable demeanor. He was great with my son and able to get him to trust him, which is hard for a 2 1/2 year old. His bedside manner and extensive knowledge has been unlike any physician that I have ever seen. He takes the time to make sure that he understands the illness and makes sure that as parents that we understand. He has been one of the only Physicians that we have encountered that has taken the time to review all of my son medical records prior to treating him. He is one of the most patient Physicians. I have had to deal with Duke University several times and I cannot say enough good things about their medical staff. This has been the only medical institution where I have felt that the Physician's have a true passion and desire to treat their patients. I will be forever grateful.
