Dr. Joseph Martinez, MD

Dr. Martinez is a pill-pusher. Your blood work can come back abnormal with flags, and he will ignore them. If you bring up the flags in your results, he says it's not important. Seek a second opinion and the other doctors tend to disagree with his "knowledge." Martinez does not LIKE it when you seek a second opinion, and your visits will become passive-aggressive and uncomfortable. While pushing 5 different medications at me, he didn't bother to think about drug interactions and I ended up having horrible chest pains that took an ER visit to figure out that he had given me 3 medications that you should never take together. He doesn't explain anything. If you need a form filled out and faxed, you will have to call at least twice to remind him to do it. Why on earth he is allowed to practice is beyond me. This guy is just another pill pushing doctor to add to New Kensington's collection of doctors that do the same stuff. The other staff is friendly and helpful. Martinez is the issue… here. If you're seeking real, helpful medicalcare....go to anybody but Dr. Martinez.

In my darkest days, Dr. Martinez help me immensely and got me back on my feet and I cannot thank him enough. Such a caring and compassionate doctor and one that takes all the time you need. I will surely miss seeing him.
