Dismissive, rude, condescending. Did 0 tests and said it’s anxiety. He was wrong and I ended up on heart medication 3 months later. He Just made a diagnosis on his personal opinion without any labs, or imaging. Easily the worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. If you get him I’d leave and go somewhere else.

Dr. McMahon did an excellent job diagnosing my condition and gave me the appropriate treatment. I entered the ER with what I thought was an allergic reaction (tongue swelling) and he knew right away that it was something else. The appropriate treatment was given in my IV and within about 15 minutes, my tongue returned to normal size. I was worried and very anxious but he knew exactly what to do. I'm not sure every ER doctor would have correctly diagnosed me and am forever grateful for him being there that night.

Took great interest in treating our son's blood infection and made sure we understood everything that was happening.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. His bedside manner is awful. He's extremely arrogant. I may not be in a "life-threatening" state, but to walk in and say, "someone is dying, I don't have time for this," because I was in the restroom... ridiculous!!! He was distracted by a personal cell phone call, didn't talk to me for longer than one minute. Oh and when he left the room he started to shut the door and and asked if I wanted it shut, I said no thank you and he slammed it shut. So professional.
