I'm a native Los Angeleno. I was born across the street from NBC studios in Burbank and grew up in the shadow of Universal Studios. I once thought of running for political office but was inspired by my family ophthalmologist to become a physician. I grew up with 11 siblings, so maybe that's why I'm a pediatrician.
