Last night Dr. Meier treated me in the NMC ER. I thought I was having asthma exacerbation, but turns out is was a combo of COPD exacerbation AND Heart Failure symptoms. I have a complex history of chronic conditions. He was able to provide appropriate support with medication and I was released. Last night was the FIRST night I was able to sleep in several days. I was only there for approximately an hour and half. All of the staff was efficient, attentive, caring and Dr. Meier checked on me frequently as well. He listened to me, made me part of the treatment plan and thoroughly explained his thought process while selecting the medications I was treated with.

I went to the emergency hospital 2 days ago and was seen by Dr Meier, who treated me there during my hospital visit. I found him and the entire staff there to be very attentive and interested in taking care of me the best they could. They ran appropriate tests and gave me immediate feedback about the results, and continued to pursue possible causes of what seemed to be somewhat of a mystery causing my intensely swollen area until they came up with what they considered to be the best diagnosis. They moved incredibly swiftly to counteract the symptoms and were able to produce immediate relief that I will always appreciate. When I was leaving, they let me know I needed to see my regular doctor to continue to pursue finding the cause, once I got back to where I live, in another state, and I could not recommend them more!

Dr Meier was very efficient. My son fell & had a laceration on his chin. I knew it wasn’t deep enough to warrant sutures but because it was mobile, it did need some glue. He came in, cleaned it up, quickly glued it & sent us on our way. Thanks Dr Meier!!
